Monitoring
A cloud based energy management system (EMS) monitors the loads at the PV power station, grid access point, and at the energy storage systems grid access point in real-time. By monitoring real-time data, and taking safety & stability constraints into consideration, the cloud based EMS can dynamically adjust the energy storage system’s charge/discharge strategies.
The EMS provides a centralized dashboard that enables operators to:
- Track energy flow across all nodes
- Monitor battery performance and system health
- Detect anomalies and faults instantly

Battery Management System
BESS battery energy storage systems, incorporate a battery management system which is comprised of a 3-layer architecture composed of a BMU, CMU and GPC. The BMS has functions such as high-precision analog signal detection and reporting, fault alarm, uploading and storage, battery protection, parameter setting, Active balancing, battery SOC calibration, and information interaction with other devices.
Main features of the battery management system:
- Comprehensive monitoring of battery operating status, including voltage, current and temperature, etc.
- High voltage detection accuracy on battery cell: ±5mV, ensuring system data analysis reliability

The BMS performs 24/7 in real-time, monitoring & protecting the lithium batteries in the energy storage system. The BMS provides data regarding cell voltage, cell temperature, connection cable terminal temperature and battery String voltage/current/SOC/SOH, etc.

Fire Fighting & Suppression System
The 3MTM Novec fire extinguishing systems are designed to transport the fire extinguishing agent to the nozzle of the container battery room via the main agent pipe and branch pipe via spray nozzles. The extinguishing agent meets the requirement standards for clean agent fire extinguishing systems and NFPA2001 of the American Fire Protection Association.
